Howdy to all Friends of the Stagecoach Trail! Let’s meet!Mark your calendars for the first gathering of Friends of the Stagecoach Trail (FOST) on Nov. 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Billings Library Community Meeting Room. Refreshments provided. All are invited. Bring friends!
As we approach December, it will be important to show our city leaders the overwhelming support for the trail to keep this amazing project on track!
Stagecoach Trail will be a multi-use pathway providing a vital and scenic connection from the west end of Billings to Zimmerman Park, and ultimately to the Heights via the Skyway Drive Trail and the Skyline Trail.
In a TrailNet 2022 Random Survey of Billings residents, 86% (+/- 13%)(95% Confidence) identified the Stagecoach Trail as either very important (49.1%) or somewhat important (36.4%)
The MDT Transportation Commission approved the Stagecoach project in October 2023.
At the Nov. 12 gathering, we will present up-to-date design info and discuss ways to communicate the strong support the trail has.
