The Friends of the Library are having their Annual Author's Luncheon featuring Erica Wright! Erica is a local author and poet from Wartrace who has written several fiction books, including the Kat Stone series, as well as collections of poems. Her latest book, Hollow Bones, is a mystery novel full of enthralling twists and turns. She is set to release two books in 2026: the poetry collection A Buyer's Guide to the Afterlife and another mystery novel, The Museum of Unusual Occurrence. Erica and her family have been some of the SBCP Library's biggest supporters since her days of living in Bedford County. She now lives in the Knoxville area. The Author's Luncheon will be on Tuesday, October 14th at Noon. It will be held at the Blue Ribbon Circle Club, 1110 North Evans Street, Shelbyville, TN 37160. Tickets are $20 each at the SBCP Library starting September 4th. A full table for 8 can be purchased for $160. Sponsorships for the Library are also available for $300, which will include 8 tickets.
