The Friends of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will hold their annual Book Sale on Thursday, October 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room.There will be a special preview sale for Friends of the Library members only on Wednesday, October 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memberships will be available at the door for $10. Bestsellers, large print, fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, media items and more will be sold during the event. The book sale will also feature a silent auction of high-quality donated books including rare editions, collector’s items, and more. Teal Friends of the Library tote bags will be on sale for $3. Saturday’s sale will be a bag sale – fill any sized bag of books for $3, or fill a teal tote bag for $5.
Book donations for the sale will be accepted starting Wednesday, October 1 through Wednesday, October 22 during the Library’s open hours. All items must be in good condition. The book sale does not accept magazines, Readers’ Digest condensed books, outdated books, encyclopedias, textbooks, or torn or damaged books.
The Friends of the Library organization supports T-SPL with monies raised through the book sale and other fundraisers held throughout the year. Funds raised in the past have provided financial support for the summer reading programs, special events for adults, as well as technology and equipment such as a speaker system for library meeting rooms, large format printer and laminator, a Cricut machine for staff use, and computers for children’s area.
