About this Event
Oklahoma Media Center is partnering with the Indigenous Journalists Association for a co-fundraiser on April 1 at Will Rogers Theatre in Oklahoma City. The evening will include a screening of the Sundance Award-winning “Bad Press” film, which documents the struggle to enshrine the right to a free press into the constitution of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The documentary screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the film’s star, Angel Ellis of Mvskoke Media, and co-director Rebecca Landsberry-Baker of IJA. The price of admission includes a drink ticket and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
