About this Event
Friends of Ohio's foodbanks - including faith leaders, farmers, food pantry staff and volunteers, board members, donors, and partners - will come together for a luncheon event at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium and for meetings with members of the 136th Ohio General Assembly!
Never gone to a legislative meeting before? No need to worry! We'll make it easy on you, by pairing you with a group of other advocates and giving you all the materials you need to be prepared. As we advocate for adequate funding for hunger relief and priorities for a food secure Ohio in the next state biennial budget, your voice and support matters more than ever.
Can't attend any legislative meetings? We still hope to see you at the luncheon event, where you can mingle with legislators, legislative aides, and other stakeholders, and enjoy a program featuring updates on the state of food security in Ohio.
Doors will open for our luncheon at 11:30am in the Statehouse Atrium with a program from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Legislative meetings will occur throughout the day based on when legislators and staffers are available to meet.
