The Friends of the Bogue Banks Public Library Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 2nd at 3pm (doors open at 2pm). This is a ticketed event, and reservations will begin in early January 2025. Watch our Facebook page and newsletter for updates. Current Friends Members will receive first priority, so please renew your membership before January. Email [email protected] to become a member and/or receive our monthly newsletter.We are pleased to announce our Annual Meeting speaker, bestselling author Wiley Cash! Wiley Cash is the New York Times bestselling author of four novels and the founder of This Is Working, an online creative community. He’s been a fellow at Yaddo and the MacDowell Colony, and he teaches fiction writing and literature at the University of North Carolina-Asheville. He lives in North Carolina with his wife, photographer Mallory Cash, and their daughters.
Wiley will be signing books after our meeting - the BookShop in Morehead has graciously agreed to supply books, and Spoondrift is hosting a reception with refreshments. We look forward to see you, and thank you for supporting your public library!
