Hello Everyone and Seasons Greetings 🎄I am pleased to confirm the next volunteer day will be on Wednesday 17th December 10.00 - 3.30.
Like before we will meet at the Pitch and Putt entrance/Friends of Hillsborough container by Larkstone car park:

All tools including gloves will be provided but please bring a packed lunch/drinks as required.
The plan depending on numbers and the weather is to do the following:
1) Clear and tidy up the top of Hillsborough of the years overgrowth, to maintain the restored views. Thin shoots of the pernicious Blackthorn have returned and need to be cut back.
2) Clear a small area adjacent to the path up to the top of Hillsborough. This will open up a new vista looking south east to the valley/hills behind Hele.
3) Clear and tidy up the entrance to Hillsborough at the top of the Pitch and Putt field.
4) Cut overhanging branches/scrub on paths and pick up any litter.
Any new volunteers are most welcome and as always can do just as much or little as they can/want to!

Please note that if we have to cancel the day due to poor weather or any other reason, myself or Ian will cancel the 'Event' on our Facebook Group page and also send out an email
to those followers/volunteers that we have on our Friends of Hillsborough contacts document.
