Dara Dubh

+ Folk due, Léda ( Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín & Amy Laurenson)

Dara Dubh is Scotland’s go-to harpist with a difference. Hailing from Northern Ireland, with the harp as her trusted companion, Dara pulls influence from the variety of musical styles that have surrounded her musical journey thus far to create a blend of genres. As A versatile artist, she has captivated audiences in intimate acoustic settings and electrifying live performances alike. From playing at SofarSounds across the country to being selected as one of JBL & Martin Garrix’s top 10 artists in the UK, Dara is leaving an indelible mark on the music scene in Scotland.

Léda is a contemporary folk duo based in Glasgow combining harp, fiddle, piano and voice. It features both Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín (Multiple All Ireland Titles) & Amy Laurenson (BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2023). Between them they have travelled the world playing music and appeared on world leading stages such as Broadway, Aviva Stadium, Croke Park, RDS, Marley Park, National Concert Hall in Dublin and The Barbican Theatre in London to China, Canada and Finland to name but a few. Éadaoin and Amy have collaborated in creating newly composed music, a fusion of folk and traditional with the Irish and Shetland influence weaving its way through the intricate sounds leaving the listener spellbound. Their debut EP was awarded ‘Album of the Week’ on RTÉ Radio. Enjoy wonderful music, a lovely atmosphere and an extensive drinks menu and our evening dining menu, making for the perfect summer Friday evening in the city.

Please note this is not a theatre style sit down event and the restaurant will still be functioning with diners.
