Friends of Dumfries Slave Cemetery is leading this event and could use some additional helping hands!
We will focus on raking leaves, extending the flower beds along both fence lines, and planting more rose bushes.
What to Bring
- Tools: If you have them, please bring rakes, shovels, hoes, saws, W**d wacker, and insect repellent.
- Layered Clothing: Remember to dress appropriately for the outdoors. Long sleeves pants is highly recommended. Wear long sleeve shirts, hats and work GLOVES.
- Closed-Toe Shoes REQUIRED: Wear comfortable, but protective shoes as terrain is unpredictable.
- There will be water available on site. Please bring extra water with you and snacks if desired.Please bring your own sunscreen and bug spray.
If you are not a member of Friends of Dumfries Slave Cemetery please consider joining. Individual membership dues are $30.00 annually.
