About this Event
The Friends Night at the Museum fundraiser is back in support of MONOVA: North Vancouver Museum and Archives. All proceeds from the event help fund programs and exhibits designed to connect people, expand learning, explore history and inspire future generations.
The evening's cocktail reception, hosted by the Friends of the North Vancouver Museum & Archives Society, is always a popular event with former CBC news anchor, Kevin Evans, as MC. This year also features a presentation by Talon Helicopters' Chief Pilot—a rare opportunity to hear the latest innovations around aviation tech with links to North Shore Rescue.
Come and enjoy:
- A complimentary glass of wine
- Cocktail bites throughout the evening
- Talon Helicopters stories from Chief Pilot Jarrett Lunn
- Bidding on fun and intriguing auction items
- Entertainment by local musician Atlin Morgan
- Touring the museum's award-winning exhibit gallery
We encourage you to bring a friend and purchase tickets early. Remember, Friends Society members get a discount on tickets with the promo code.

We respectfully acknowledge that MONOVA: Museum and Archives of North Vancouver is located on the traditional lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Səlílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations, whose ancestors have lived here for countless generations. We are grateful for the opportunity to live, work and learn with them on unceded Coast Salish territory.
Thank you to our event SPONSORS for their generous support
