Friends-giving Comedy Nite

Join us for a nite of comedy, community, and Friends sitcom fun. Host Lauren LoGiudice (“heartwarming tone with a bit of sass” - Time Out NY) welcomes a diverse group of comedians from around the world to help us recharge before the season’s chaos begins. Prizes given to Friends trivia winners and anyone who comes dresses as a Friends character.

Capish?! Club is hosted within Lunella Restaurant, the only establishment in the history of Little Italy that is women-owned and operated, and the first venue in the district to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride.

F.A.Q.

What does the sliding scale mean? We want to keep the show accessible to people who want to experience it, so a limited amount of tickets are available at $5.

Can I get tickets at the door? Most likely, but we can't guarantee they will be available. Reserve early to make sure you get a seat.

Is there a food or drink minimum? Nope. There is not a purchase minimum for this show, but note that the full drink and food menu is available (and super tasty!).

So the Capish?! Club: Misfit Comedy Space is located inside an Italian Restaurant?! Yes! We love comedy...and food! It's like going to your loud, Italian-American friends house where everyone is friendly, charmingly funny... and will try to feed you.

I love Friendsgiving. Can I bring it to my organization/town, etc.? Sure! Email [email protected] and we'll make it happen.

Can I reserve a seat? All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that doors are open at 7:30pm for the pre-show mingle. VIP tickets come with the optiont to choose your seat.

Can I be one of the "first time comedians? Sure. Email [email protected] and we'll set you up.

Can I come alone? Yes! Here's what a recent audience member said about that: "Definitely a good atmosphere for a solo person, everyone was very welcoming and friendly but also not overwhelming."

What kind of comedy is presented? Mostly standup, as well as a character act or two. We include a diverse array of comedians experimenting with different ways to present standup. Audiences have loved this aspect of the show. Audience members have described it as:

• "Fun way to spend an evening: laugh and get dinner."

Will comedians make fun of me? This room is positive-vibes only! As one audience members said point blank: "You won't be a target at this show."

Is this one of those Manhattan shows that are full of tourists? Nope! Our audience includes a diverse cross-section of New Yorkers with a few neighborhood folks mixed in. (But if you're a tourist, you're welcome to join us! We'll give you an authentic New York experience you will not forget!)
