About this Event
Meet New York Times bestselling author Jenny Jackson. She will discuss her novel, Pineapple Street, a New York Times Bestseller and a Good Morning America Book Club Pick. Pineapple Street was also chosen as best book of the year by The New York Times, Time, NPR, USA Today, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country, Vogue, BBC, POPSUGAR, Goodreads, and theSkimm. Jenny will be in conversation with New York Times bestselling author Fiona Davis.
Rife with the indulgent pleasures of life among New York’s one-percenters, Pineapple Street is a smart, escapist novel that sparkles with wit. Full of recognizable, loveable—if fallible—characters, it’s about the peculiar unknowability of someone else’s family, the miles between the haves and have-nots, and the insanity of first love—all wrapped in a story that is a sheer delight.
A light reception will open the presentation; book sale and signing hosted by Elm Street Books will follow.
Tickets are $20; $15 for Friends members.
Jenny Jackson is a Vice President and Executive Editor at Alfred A. Knopf. A graduate of Williams College and the Columbia Publishing Course, she lives in Brooklyn Heights with her family. Pineapple Street is her first novel.
Fiona Davis is author of seven bestselling historical fiction novels set in iconic New York City buildings, including The Dollhouse, The Address, The Spectacular and The Lions of Fifth Avenue, which was a GMA Book Club pick. Her novels have been chosen as “One Book, One Community” reads and her articles have appeared in publications like The Wall Street Journal and O the Oprah Magazine.
