Friends and Fun Saturdays – Pickleball!
Fun and active event for neurodiverse kids and families to learn and play together!
Neurodiverse kids ages 9–17, siblings, parents, and caregivers are invited to learn and play pickleball together.
- The event begins with a one-hour beginner clinic where kids will learn alongside other kids and parents will learn alongside other parents, guided by experienced coaches and volunteers.
- After a quick break, families are encouraged to stay for up to two hours of organized open play. Play together as a family or get paired up with other kids and parents for fun, friendly games.
- Our sensory room and our playground will be open for kids that need a break.
- Shade and tables will be available for families that want to relax and watch the pickleball games.
- If you have a pickleball paddle, please bring it. Loaner paddles and balls will be provided.
- No experience required. This event is intended to teach the basics of pickleball in a fun, inclusive setting. Bring your sneakers, a water bottle, and plenty of energy.
This family-friendly event is open to all ability levels and is designed to get everyone moving, learning, making new friends, and enjoying the game together. Come see why pickleball has become the fastest growing sport in America!
