Our mission this month is to help Elkton Middle school set up an after school weight training program. There are so many at risk youth in our area that will benefit from such a program.
My nephew (AJ Kubala) is the Physical Education teacher at EMS and has started collecting hand weights, free weights, weight benches and such to get this program started.
While you are making room for all those new Christmas gifts and run across some weights or other fitness items, that you are not using anymore, bring them along to donate.
Cash donations will be accepted as well. There are a few items available on Facebook Marketplace, that he could purchase with cash donations.
