Start a garden or grow something new to you this year with seeds from the Fridley Community Seed Swap! All are welcome - no registration required. - Bring your extra viable vegetable, herb, flower and native plant seeds to share (not required) and take home new seeds
- Get gardening and seed starting advice from Anoka County Master Gardeners
- Learn how to make your own newspaper pots for seed starting
- Attend a native plant germination demonstration
- Free native plant seeds from Minnesota Native Landscapes and Anoka Conservation District
- Voucher for free compost for first 50 attendees from the Columbia Heights Recycling Center
If you can't make the event, you can drop-off seeds in labeled envelopes at Fridley City Hall or Springbrook Nature Center on March 10-14 during business hours.
