Immerse yourself in the foundations of Argentine Tango with this six-week intensive course. You’ll learn essential techniques including posture, embrace, connection, and dance composition, equipping you with the skills to create and improvise both basic and complex moves. Meet new friends and build your Tango community!

Course Structure:

• 30 minutes: Biomechanics for Tango
• 1 hour: Thematic lesson of the day
• 30 minutes: Practice time

Cancellation Policy:

• Full 100% refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance. • 50% refund for cancellations made up to 48 hours in advance. • No refund for cancellations made within 48 hours. However, 50% of the ticket value can be credited toward group classes at our Penn Station location.

Prerequisites:

No partner needed—participants will practice both leading and following roles, embracing a gender-neutral approach. Basic coordination, balance, and memory skills are recommended. Please ensure no prior injuries.

Attire:

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Not sure about the best footwear? Socks or ballet shoes are great alternatives.
