Join us for a fantastic edition of Story Time with both author and illustrator of Possibilities!
"WE ARE ALL MADE TO BE DIFFERENT, IT'S TRUE."
Possibilities was written out of love, from a mother's heart, to bring a voice to her exceptional, nonverbal and nonambulatory daughter, who since birth had a variety of special needs.
The story showcases real-life moments in the main character's life in hopes of facilitating acceptance, compassion, and inclusion for differently-abled children by demonstrating that there is more to them than what people may assume at first glance.
The author invites readers to explore the potential of possibilities she and other special needs individuals embody, whether the possibilities are tangible or imagined, and challenges readers to celebrate their differences and bravely embrace their own unique possibilities.

About the Author
Cindy Boudreaux, originally from Bradenton, Florida, is a long-time resident of Aiken County, South Carolina, where she lives with her husband of 33 years, Ray. She is a nationally board-certified and licensed occupational therapy assistant specializing in pediatrics.
Cindy also serves as the National Special Needs Coordinator for the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation, a role she has passionately fulfilled for 30 years as a volunteer and advocate for medically fragile and differently abled children.
She is the author of the nationally recognized children’s book Possibilities, honored by Disability Book Week as a disability-inclusive read. Cindy wrote Possibilities to give her daughter, Alyson, a voice and to encourage acceptance, awareness, and inclusion for all individuals with disabilities.
A devoted philanthropist, Cindy is especially committed to causes supporting differently abled and underprivileged children. She is currently developing a branded children’s book series, with each story highlighting a different disability. Proceeds from each book will benefit the national organization connected to the featured special need, continuing Cindy’s mission to create meaningful change through storytelling.

About the Illustrator
Caroline has always had a passion for storytelling through writing and art. She loves to view the world with a childlike wonder that inspires joyful watercolor characters and scenes. She works at a garden center where she is constantly inspired by everyday moments in nature. Whenever Caroline is not painting, she enjoys cooking, reading and hiking. “Possibilities” is her first illustrated picture book and she hopes to give life to many more stores.
