Shag is a lively and energetic swing dance that’s perfect for those fast-paced tunes. As a key part of the Swing dance family, it is known for its quick footwork, bouncy rhythms, and joyful vibe. In this workshop, we’ll guide you through the basics, so you can confidently dance to even the fastest songs without missing a beat.
This season we'll have Shag monthly based Friday Special classes with Clara and Vincent. Each class will last 2 hours, and you can come at any time, no matter if you had a chance to come to a previous one or not.
Level
This workshop is open to everyone! Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience with Shag, there’s something for you. We’ll cover the fundamentals and also dig deeper into interesting rhythms and fun steps, making sure everyone leaves with new skills and confidence.
No partner? No problem! You don’t need a partner to join this workshop. We’ll rotate partners frequently so everyone gets a chance to dance and learn together.

We kindly ask you to change your shoes on the ground floor and enter the ballroom only in your dance shoes. There's a room next to the entrance where you can safely keep your outside shoes.
