Join us for a day of excitement, exploration, and learning, all by the way of play! Embark on a self-guided journey throughout the three floors of fun Port Discovery has to offer and tap into special workshops offered just for our homeschoolers on these special days.
Friday September 27 – The World Around Us: Animal Adaptations
Workshop sessions at 10:30am and 1:30pm
Discover some of the many different adaptations that animal use the survive by playing our game of predator and prey. After learning first-hand how adaptation occur, design an animal with some unique adaptations of its own.
*Homeschool Days and workshops are not drop-off programs. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum and within special workshops.
Pricing
Tickets are $15 per person and include all day admission to explore the museum as well as one workshop.
Memberships cannot be applied to our Homeschool special program tickets for either adults or children. Additional tickets may not be purchased with memberships.
