FRIDAY, APRIL 4th, 2025 - doors open at 5:00... Please save the date and spread the word!
We are happy to be hosting a Friday River Fish Dinner, lovingly prepared by chef extraordinaries Justin Trussoni and Lucy Spangler-Gore. This feast will feature all locally sourced organic fare, including cherrywood grilled fish cakes, coleslaw and roasted root vegetables on the side. We will also have an array of desserts and drinks for sale. Vegetarian options will also be available. Twenty dollars per entree.
We are offering a limited quantity of 100 main courses. Carry out orders will be served between 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM, and sit down dinners will be plated and served from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. We expect to sell out of everything, so please send in your RSVP right away!
There will be live music on our parlour piano, as well as a bonfire outside (after all the fish have all been grilled).
All proceeds go to Artists & Friends Inc, the 501c3 who owns The Commons at 401 E Jefferson St, with the goal of matching a WEDC grant to pay for an architectural study of The Commons by B. Aaron Parker of Metropeligo and Marc Zettler of Zettler Design Studio. This study will enable us to enact a phased plan for the historic preservation and restoration of our beautiful 128 year old building. We hope to make this location back into the landmark it once was for our fair city.
