Welcome to a Friday Night Swing Out filled with rocking rythms by our live band The Shakes!We proudly presents The Shakes who’s gonna play real good old rug cutting Rock ‘n’ Roll live for you to dance to.
During the first band brake the DJ Christensen plays Boogie Woogie music for you to dance to (lindy hop, boogie woogie, blues or whichever other dance you might know that works to the music ?).
At the second band brake, DJ Elin will give a set of swing dance music mixing in songs all the way from the 40s up to contemporary pop music.
For those interested in trying out Boogie Woogie there will also be a taster class in Boogie Woogie dancing given by Ole and Elin.
The course level suits those who have been dancing lindy hop for a while. So to get the most of the course you should feel comfortable with the most common rhythms and moves in lindy hop.

18.30-19.30 Taster class in Boogie Woogie
19.30-22:30 dancing to The Shakes and DJ’s in band brake.
