It's been a long time since we've done Two Rooms of Dancing. When we started Midtown Stomp 20 years ago, we would often have Blues in a separate room. We will have Midtown Stomp in the main room like you are used and you can go back and forth between the rooms. For the side room, whether you want to do Blues Dancing, Lindy, Fusion, West Coast Swing or whatever dances you love, we hope that you find common ground with your partner and enjoy dancing to beautiful music.We will kick off the side room at 9pm on February 28th and hope you'll join us for both swing and blues. The side room music will be a variety of genres, primarily blues based, slow and groovy.
Never been dancing before? Do you have two left feet? Do you think you lack rhythm? That's no problem at all for us. At 8:00 pm we'll teach you the steps you need to know to have a good time. It's even included in the cost of admission.
No partner? Don't worry! Our classes are social and rotate partners and you'll meet a ton of cool, new people. Do you have a partner and only want to dance with them? That's cool with us too. When the class rotates just stay with your favorite person.
