The City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Business Improvement District and DiscoverFTLBeach.com will close out the “Friday Night Sound Waves” ninth season with the final leg of its “Backstage Pass” tribute series. The free outdoor concert series invites the public to Las Olas Oceanside Park every Friday evening for performances by nationally touring tribute acts that celebrate the music and artists that have defined generations.Running Fridays from Oct. 24 through Dec. 19, the 2025 installment wraps up a two-year run of the tribute-themed series, blending high-energy performances with a beachside setting that has drawn fans of all ages.
“It’s been a fun ride with the tribute series,” said producer Arianne Glassman. “It gave us a chance to revisit the music that defined so many of our lives and share that nostalgia with people who came back week after week. But what makes this series special isn’t just the music – it’s the people, the setting, and the sense of connection that Friday nights on the beach always seem to bring.”
The 2025 season finale also sets the stage for a milestone year. In 2026, “Friday Night Sound Waves” will celebrate its 10th anniversary by returning to its roots – welcoming back fan-favorite local artists who helped define the early years of the program. The 2026 season will run from February through April, and again from October through December.
