The Garden's Executive Club is excited to bring to you "IN THE KEY OF SPADES ♠️" Live Music by World Renowned Artist, Elijah Ketchup.
Join us in Stone Mountain, GA for an unforgettable weekly upscale event at the exquisite Garden's Executive Club. Located at 5459 East Mountain Street.
Tthis tournament is open to all, whether you're a seasoned player or a beginner. It's the perfect opportunity to network with CEOs, meet new people, have fun, and enjoy the thrill of the game while listening to the best R&B talents from around the world.
Grab your partner and come compete for your share of the cash prizes, which will be awarded to the top 5 teams. Registration is required with a fee of $10 for general admission and $20 per player or $40 per team. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis with only 16 teams accepted each week. Attire is "grand casual," so come dressed to impress and join us for an evening of excitement and entertainment in Stone Mountain. Don't miss out on this amazing event!

Spades Tournament Rules
♠️ Teams will be composed of 2 players who will sit directly across from each other when playing.
♠️ Games will be to 350 points. In 45-minute, interval (if team does not reach 350 by end of time frame the team closest to 350 wins)
♠️Each Player will take turns dealing all cards❤️13 to each player
♠️Firsthand deals itself.
♠️10 books on the first hand automatically win
♠️ One person will keep all the books each game.
♠️Definitions and Terminology:
Books ❤️ refers to taking or winning one hand.
Bid ❤️ A player chooses the number of books that he/she will take.
Bags ❤️ Number of books a team takes over their total bid.
(Example: a team bids 5 books total, but wins 7+ result is 2 bags)
Set❤️When a team fails to win enough books to reach it's total bid.
Reneging ❤️ When a player fails to play the suite of the led card and later throws that same suite. (Example: Harts are led, Player A throws a spade to win the book. Later, Player A throws a ❤️ Player A has Reneged.
8. Scoring
1book = 10 pts. 1 bag = 1 pt. Reaching 10 bags = -100 pts. Reneging = -3 books
Bidding and taking all 13 books = 130 pts.
♠️Not reaching a team bid = Minus # of books bid X 10 pts.
♠️No ❤️table talk♠️or giving hints to a partner will be allowed.

💎 First Diamond Deal
♠️Players must follow the suite of the lead card if they have a card of that suit. If a player does not have a card of that suit, they can choose to throw a spade or another suit.
♠️A player can not lead with a spade until a spade has been played
🃏 The Big Joker is the highest card in the deck. Example: Big J, Little J Ace of Spades, King of Spades, etc.….
♠️ A spade can ❤️trump or beat all other suits.
❤️A misdeal can be called for the following:
1. Player was not dealt exactly 13 cards
Player does not have any spades
Player does not have any face cards (Ace, King, Queen, Jack)
♠️Players must bid in order, starting with the player directly to the left of the dealer.
♠️Dealer must offer the player to his/her right, the opportunity to cut the cards after they are shuffled.
♠️The minimum total bid for a team is 4.
♠️A card laid is a card played❤️ and cannot be picked up (you cannot force a renege)
