To celebrate spooky season, join us for an after-hours showing of Dawn of the Dead, hosted by our Classic Film Club!During an escalating zombie epidemic, two Philadelphia SWAT team members, a traffic reporter and his TV executive girlfriend seek refuge in a secluded shopping mall. Famously filmed at Monroeville's own Monroeville Mall and in Pittsburgh, it features many current and past elements of the mall. Called by Roger Ebert one of the best horror films ever made, it combines horror and gore with social commentary.
These events are for adults. Those under 18 can only attend with a parent or guardian.
Classic Film Club meets to watch and chat about major works of film history, including examples from past eras of Hollywood as well as foreign films. They're looking forward to seeing a piece of Monroeville's film history!
