Our Matchbox AI Matching Night is back — this time as a Valentine’s Edition, landing in the Laneway at Duporth Tavern on Friday Feb 13, just in time for Valentine’s weekend 🩷
This isn’t speed dating. This isn’t awkward name tags.

On arrival, you’ll complete a short questionnaire designed by Matchbox’s relationship scientists and curated by your host.
The algorithm then:

✨ Guides you through fun clue-based moments
✨ Reveals your match later in the night
You must arrive before 7:45pm to be included in the AI matching.

If your match isn’t instant sparks, that’s okay. Matchbox prioritises long-term compatibility and shared values.

Either way, you’ll meet a gorgeous group of like-minded singles in a relaxed, respectful environment.
We aim to maintain a 50/50 gender split where possible. If numbers are uneven, some matches may be paired platonically — and in that case, you’ll receive a free ticket to a future Matchbox event of your choice.
