On Friday 14th November there’s another ensemble of comedy excellence headed to Number 57, including the great John Gavin headlining and Daniel Downie hosting.Headlining the night is award-winning comedian John Gavin. John is a veteran comedian, a winner of Scottish Comedian of the Year, and has starred on BBC Scotland’s hit comedy Scot Squad.

Hosting the show will be award-winning Highland comedian Daniel Downie. Daniel has brought several shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, including his acclaimed 2022 sold-out show about Mary Queen of Scots ‘There’s Something About Mary’.

Opening the show will be the Cumbernauld powerhouse of punchlines Jack Traynor. Jack was personally invited to open for star of Netflix Daniel Sloss, and was named Most Valued Player worldwide by Roast Battle. Jack was also named as the winning recipient of a bursary to fund his 2025 Edinburgh Fringe solo show.

Our middle act for the evening is Peter Bell, a rapidly-rising stand-up comedy star from Paisley. He made the BBC New Comedy Awards Shortlist 2023, and won the prestigious ‘Beat the Gong’ show in Stockton.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
· Tickets can be refunded or exchanged no less than 24 hours before the show.
· Line-ups can be subject to change at short notice.
· The show is in three parts separated by two intervals. Doors open at 7pm, 60 minutes before the start time of 8pm. Please arrive before the show starts but not before 7pm. Attendees who arrive late will not be granted admission or a refund.
· This is NOT a standing event. All audience members must be seated while the performance is underway, unless ordering at the bar or using the toilets. When ordering at the bar, please whisper.
· Entrance and exit is via the side door only; please wait outside at the door for ticket check and to be seated by the doorman.
· Tables are limited and may need to be shared. You may not be able to sit together if the remaining chairs available are spread out. If you are sitting on a row, please move all the way along and don’t leave empty seats between groups. If you are particular about seating we recommend arriving as early as possible.
· Seats in the front half of the room must be filled before seating in the back half is allocated.
· Seating in the alcove at the back is reserved for the comedians and their guests only.
· Don’t talk or heckle during the performances. This rule is NOT optional. It is very distracting for both the performer and other audience members. Some performers (usually the host) might talk to the audience, but otherwise please let the comedians do the talking. Heckling does not ‘help the show’. If you don’t agree, please don’t come to our shows. Think of it like cinema rules: laughter, cheers, applause are all great, but talking or yelling out is not. And another cinema rule…
· Please put your phone on silent. Photos are fine but please no video or flash photography.
· These shows are for people aged 18 and over. Due to licencing 17 year olds can attend accompanied by a parent or guardian, but we cannot allow entry to those aged 16 and under, accompanied or not. You may be asked to show ID if you do not look of age.
· Comedy Dundee does not necessarily agree or disagree with the opinions and viewpoints expressed by the comedians.
· Audience members who repeatedly break these rules will be asked to leave.
