F.R.I.D.A. Fest seeks to impoweer our community to celebrate the art, and rich history, of women while celebrating the vibrance of lantix community and the inspiring women that have contributed to our community. Such as Frida Kahlo, Selena Quintanilla, Gloria Anzaldúa, Chavela Vargas, and countless others. We celebrate all the fabulous, Independent, determined and self assured women of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Que Retro Arts and Curious Twins will host Frida Festival 2021. A two day celebration.
Saturday July 10 & Sunday July 11th 2021 from 12pm to 6pm.
F.R.I.D.A FEST is a free- family-friendly, indoor event that will take place at Rolling Oaks Mall 6909 North Loop 1604, San Antonio, Texas 78247.

Attendees can expect to experience a one of a kind community gathering, handmade artisan mercado, fashion, music, performances, & culinary traditions, with talent from all around San Antonio. Over 90 artisan vendors offering one-of-kind art, and handmade goods.
*Join in our community alter were the community can recognize the legacy of strong women in our lives. Please bring photos of the departed to recognize on our alter. Feel free to bring flowers, and offerings. The community altar will be up for both days of the festival.
*Learn about the life of Frida Kahlo and other Latix leaders with facts throughout the building.
*Frida and Diego look alike contest for adults and children. (Gender non conforming, open to all genders)
*Make your Own Mask contest. Decorate your own flask mask with your favorite Latina hero for a chance to win fun prizes.
*Traditional Mexican artisan lecture each day.
*Mexican herbal traditions workshop on Sunday July 11th. (More deatils to come)
