Learn ancient friction fire methods used by humans for tens of thousands of years. This class will teach you all of the basic knowledge necessary to make a fire with several friction fire methods using materials collected locally from the natural world.Methods taught in the class will include Bow-drill, Hand-drill, and Fire Saw. Expert instructors will lead you through the process and give you all of the tools necessary for success.
Students will build their own friction fire kit in the class to take home with them.

Ages: This is an adult class but open to ages 9+. Children under the ages of 16 must be accompanied by an adult participant with a 1:1 ratio. An enrollment form and payment must be received for each person attending regardless of age.
