Freyrsblót: Honoring the Harvest Gods
Join The Fellowship of Yggdrasil for a powerful evening of celebration as we mark the beginning of the harvest season with Freyrsblót—an offering ritual in honor of Freyr and the Norse gods of nature and agriculture.
Date & Time:Doors open at 6:30 PM. The blót begins at 7:00 PM and will be followed by a communal sumbel—a sacred sharing of stories, toasts, and fellowship.
What to Bring:Bring a meaningful item you'd like blessed by the gods—this could be a piece of jewelry, a sacred tool, a religious token, or anything that feels spiritually significant to you.
You will also need a drinking vessel and a beverage of your choice. Mead and wine are traditional, but non-alcoholic drinks are warmly welcomed.
Important Notes:- This is a 21+ event—no exceptions.- Hard liquor is strictly prohibited. Anyone bringing it will be asked to leave the gathering.
- Intoxication is not condoned, nor tolerated. Getting drunk is not part of our religious tradition. - Please honor the spirit of the ritual and arrive ready to connect, reflect, and celebrate with respect.
May Freyr’s bounty fill your heart and hands as we gather in reverence and community
