Monochrome Diaries PresentsFREYA BEER
Freya Beer is a singer-songwriter guitarist from West London. Inspired by art and literature, alternative fashion and music, she distils her disparate influences through a gothic soul and devil-may-care spirit. Freya's tribal, ritual, gothic-noir act has received tastemaker support from 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Louder Than War, Time Out, and many more. Previously compared to a young Chrissie Hynde in attitude and 1980’s Susanna Hoffs in looks, with a voice as haunting and stunning as Lana Del Rey's, there’s also a sort of aloof, very British art-school element to her presence and her sound. It’s poetic, direct, and unapologetic. With critical acclaim and predictions of a Mercury Prize in her future, her latest single, 'Tatianna', is capturing new fans with its catchy melody and enchanting vocals. Freya on guitar is accompanied live on stage by Arnold on bass, Owain on drums, and Kostas on additional guitar. Art-rock meets alt-pop on a stellar trajectory. For curious souls and fans of Anna Calvi, St. Vincent, Nick Cave, and Jack White.EVERYDAY SAINTS
Everyday Saints is dingepop from a seaside tourist trap started by Pip Rainbird (guitar/co-vocals) as a solo bedroom project - a creative outlet during a summer spent doing twelve hour shifts at the 'Palace of Fun' arcade on Brighton beach. Fully formed as a band in 2023 alongside Amelia Holder (bass), James Moore (drums), Jade Middleton (synths/co-vocals), and George Clark (lead guitar).Expect wedding dresses, antlers, jangle guitar, dance bass, intricate drums, 'Lost Boys' synths, and two women ignoring both their instruments and you in order to sing lovingly to each other.PARTY IN THE VALLEY
With an ever mutating brand of distorted hypnotic rock blended with haunting sensual melodies, Party in The Valley use any means necessary to bring an infectious energy to an audience.
Inspired by the rhythms and groove of Massive Attack, and the delicate, yet powerful vocals of Portishead, this group will without a doubt leave you wanting more.18+
