Join Aberdeenshire Wildlife Explorers to learn about freshwater furries!Many mammals use river and pool edges, but only a few are truly comfortable in and around water. Aberdeen University PhD student Albert will be visiting to teach us about his project on water voles. We will also learn about beavers and otters! Join us to learn about these interesting riverine furries!
This will be an indoor and outdoor session, so please ensure all children have warm/waterproof clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear.
This event is open to children aged 8-12 years old who want to learn more about nature!

Due to an increase in interest we will now need to take bookings for spaces. Current members will be given priority for spaces.

Parent/carer will need to drop off children at start time (ensuring they are checked in with our leaders) and collect them at the end of the event.
Consent forms and contact details should be completed by parent/guardian before children attend their first meeting.
