Open Mic Poetry, Spoken Word, and Prose on the Third Wednesday of every month at Tap Yard Raleigh, 1610 Automotive Way. Sign-ups begin at 6:30 and reading starts at 7pm until 9pm in the Tavern Room.Bring 3 poems or 5 minutes of prose for our first round and have on hand a 4th piece for a second round if time allows.
This Wednesday, June 19, Tap Yard is hosting a FREE WINE TASTING in the main room from 5pm-8pm and the Tap yard has asked me to extend an invitation to those attending Open Mic to come early and participate before we start. And as always following Poetry Open Mic in the Tavern Room is Open Mic Comedy in the main area.
Book sales and promotions encouraged. Be sure to tell us what you are up to or other venues you have found.
Freshly Brewed Poems is a safe place for those new to sharing or have done it a hundred times. Let us know what you need to be your best self.
