Freshers 5s Football 5-a-side league<h4>Compete, Stay Fit, and Have Fun</h4>
Event Description:
Rally your course friends, flatmates, or housemates and join one of SportBU's Campus Football Leagues! This one is purely for first year students. These leagues offer a fantastic opportunity to stay fit, engage in friendly competition, and have fun throughout the year.
We take care of everything for you and your team, from organizing the venue and equipment to providing referees. If you're flying solo, don't worry—we also host periodic recruitment events for free agents looking to join existing teams.
5-a-Side Leagues:
Format: Teams compete within their league over the course of seven weeks, aiming for a spot in the finals day cup competition and the chance to be crowned champions of the 5-a-Side arena.
Renewal: League fixtures and tables will reset in January for the spring term.
Team Details: Each team can have up to 8 players. The league is open to men and takes place on Sundays at our 5-a-side pitches on Talbot Campus.
With matches supervised by student referees, the atmosphere is competitive, fun, and friendly—perfect for getting involved in football with fellow students. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!
