You're invited! Starting May 29th, join us at Van Tech Secondary School in East Vancouver to support our learning programs by buying fresh, ultra-local produce grown, harvested, and sold by youth on schoolyard farms. In addition to freshly harvested produce like tomatoes, garlic, beets, kale, carrots and more, there are also a limited quantity of youth-prepared summer bouquets available. Our markets are one of our key learning opportunities for SOYL youth to gain invaluable pre-employment skills with all proceeds going back to our programming, so come and say hello to the youth who steward the veggies you purchase on the site where it is grown!Location: Van Tech Secondary School schoolyard farm (2600 E Broadway)

About the Good Food Program
The Fresh Roots Farm Team cares for two ~½ acre farms on secondary school grounds in Vancouver. The farms produce annual vegetables, flowers, and herbs which are sold at our markets and through a CSA, are used by kids and youth in our programs, and contribute to food security programs. We strive to foster growing space that models sustainable ecosystems and acts as the living classroom for our education programs.
