Detour (13 minutes):
In a world where trust is shattered, one young manager's life takes a dark turn as he uncovers a sinister plot against him. Now, he will do the unthinkable: seeking vengeance on his fiancée, he takes a chance on a mysterious hitchhiker.
The Girl Upstairs (13 minutes):
Within the walls of their shared home, twenty-something Janka realizes she has fallen into the trap of her job’s monotony. While Beni resigns himself to their stagnant life, Janka’s desire for change awakens when she gets the chance to switch jobs. Yet she is confronted not only with her own aspirations, but also with the uncertainty of Beni’s ambitions. On the morning of Janka’s job interview, the young couple — wary of open and honest communication — drifts apart without fully grasping the weight of their decisions.
32 (11:30 minutes):
After being for 32 years in a marriage, a couple experiences the silent conclusion of their bond.
Adolescence (24:37 minutes):
Benjámin lives a relatively peaceful life, with his only concern being the rapidly approaching final exams. This year, the school is trying out a new method to support students in their further education, involving a psychologist who provides guidance. Slowly but surely, the woman's words begin to take root in Benjámin's mind, leading him to question his relationship with his mother. His friend, Márk, doesn’t seem to be the perfect ally in this chaos either, as his words only reinforce the psychologist’s claims. Benjámin doesn’t fully understand the situation, but his trust gradually shifts from his mother to the persuasive yet unfamiliar woman.
The event is free of charge but registration is required. The shorts are in Hungarian with English subtitles.
