Suspended, still. On the margins of depredation.The human chrysalis in constant flux braces itself, yet again, for changing winds, swinging it aggressively on its limb of steel. Cracks in its surface are barely penetrable, the inner stamina unable to contain itself breaches the laws of nature in time to steer its own nemesis. Obstructive currents, carrying remnants of everything lost, dark grey flanking lines across the horizon, but horizons appear, still.
The purge of pupation agonizes because it peels away a sticky, thorny coating of fleshy survival, larval structures decay to make way for – flight? Weighted air pushing against the unfolding. In pursuit there is worry, there is calamity and ostracization, but passivity isn’t an option in the natural world; nor in the contentious pangs of pseudo world order.
Reimagining form against fickle fabrication is no easy endeavor; reclaiming agency amid cryptic control and sedating sacrilege requires a new courage, a sacrifice of centurial nostalgia and a reimagining of whatever mandated fate they try to inflict on us - ownership of flux and fixation. Deterrence from stagnancy, embers saved from fading by breaths of new life, forging microcosms of undictated bounds.
Empty larval structures decay in the rear view.
