About this Event
Fulfill your artistic dreams by joining me for a French-style apero in my private artist studio in the city of Paris! In this visit, you will learn about my signature technique —relief printing— and create your own linoleum stamp and artwork while enjoying some local drinks and snacks with the beautiful view of the city roofscape and, yes, the Eiffel Tower — ooh la la!
In this 3 hour experience, you will be:
- learning about the history and background of relief printing
- creating your own design
- learning about image transfer to a linoleum plate
- carving your linoleum stamp
- printing your linoleum stamp
- framing your final print
- enjoying a selection of my favorite local gourmet snacks and drinks
- meeting new people while enjoying the views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower
Throughout the class time, you will have a specially curated apéro including locally-made beverages, bread baked by the neighbourhoods's best boulangerie (bakery), and a selection of french cheese's and snacks, all while enjoying the beautiful view of Paris.
You will leave this experience with a new learnt printmaking technique, your own hand-framed artwork, a stamp carved by yourself to continue printing chez-toi (at home), and for sure some new friendships. I have fully curated this experience in order to highlight the local experience of my neighborhood. Bringing only to the table French made products from some of my favorite shops in the area in an effort to shine the spotlight on all of the goodness the 11eme arrondisement holds and creates.
In order to offer the best comfort possible, this workshop is open to a maximum of 8 people, if you wish to host a larger event, I am always open to hosting private workshops, just contact me!
Join me, as I open the doors to my personal artist studio in the 11eme arrondisement of Paris. My studio, specifically dedicated to my creative practice and work, is located on the tenth floor of a 70s building in Paris. It includes a large working space and a terrace which oversees most of the city, including some of the city's major monuments — le centre pompidou, notre dame, la tour Montparnasse, le pantheon, and of course, the Eiffel Tower.

Workshop is held in English, but if English is your 2nd language, I speak French and Spanish too!
About the artist behind this experience:
Annelies Danielle Schubert — Practicing multidisciplinary artist, graphic designer, and educator living in Paris
Currently based in Paris, Annelies Danielle Schubert, is a Chilean multidisciplinary artist as well as a printmaking instructor through Paris College of Arts, Creative Gatherings Paris, and independently. The heart of her artwork lies in her creative practice— leaning into her curiosity and allowing herself to play with a variety of techniques and materials makes way for her to develop work organically and passionately. Her work currently explores themes of memory, release, and grounding through abstract oil painting, contemporary embroidery, and printmaking.
