Bonjour ! :-) The retreats consist in one full day together to practice French in fun and casual ways.
Here is the PROGRAM:
- 10am to 12pm: introduction, getting to know each other, surprise activity and conversation
- 12pm to 1pm: lunch break --> this time is optional (you can take a break if you’d rather and come back in the afternoon), however I invite you to bring your lunch and share casual conversation and maybe a little walk together before the afternoon
- 1pm to 3pm: vocabulary practice, surprise activity (nope, not telling what it is 😉 )
- 15 min break: your French box can take a breath and cool down
- 315pm to 5pm: games and conversation
I’m opening the retreat to ALL LEVELS (except for full beginners, meaning no knowledge of French); we will do groups if needed.
The French Immersion Retreats are open to new people, so if you want to come with a friend or family member that speaks French, you can!
"Plus on est de fous, plus on rit" (French version of "the more, the merrier" 😉 )!
They would just need to have a chat with me before so I can have an idea of their level.
Here are some BENEFITS of the French Immersion Retreats:
1. Longer practice, better results: by getting your French box active in an immersion setting for more than an hour or two, you can make it stronger and really make a difference in your progress!
2. Meet people who share the same love of French language and make new French friends!
3. Organized and facilitated by a native and qualified French instructor (yes, that's me!), you get valuable feedback and specific activities to practice and help you improve
4. Practice in a different and casual setting: this is not meant to be a French class, more like a Conversation Club where everybody gets to practice 😉
SPOTS ARE LIMITED: I want to keep it comfortable so there are only 8 spots available. If there is a high demand, I might open a few more.
The price is $270 and as usual, everything is included (except for your lunch).

For those of you who practiced French in the past and think, as you're reading this, that you're "too rusty" to participate in this event, FEAR NOT! This is exactly the time and place for you to wake your French box up and I'd be happy to welcome you! We have some awesome people attending and would love for you to join us!
