About this Event
On the invitation of Philippe Etienne, Ambassador of France to the United States, Justice Stephen G. Breyer has selected three French classic films he will present to our dear audience at La Maison Française: Children of Paradise directed by Marcel Carné (1943), La Grande Illusion directed by Jean Renoir (1937) and the Rendez-vous de Juillet (1949). We are honored to let you discover these timeless and beautiful movies under his patronage.

FREE ADMISSION - Masks, proof of vaccination and ID will be required to enter the French Embassy.
Each person attending the event must have a ticket registered in their name and a government-issued ID that matches the name on the reservation in order to enter the Embassy. No need to print your ticket, but no one will be admitted without reservation and proper ID.
Due to strict security measures, please arrive on time, and allow extra time for security screening.
All necessary measures are taken, including but not limited to: controlled capacity, frequent cleaning of high traffic areas, circulation patterns, and safe social distancing throughout the buildings and embassy grounds.
If you are an at-risk person, have symptoms, have been in contact with a sick person or a person who has tested positive for Covid19 in the last 14 days, we ask that you do not come to one of these events.
