Bonjour, je m’appelle Héloïse. I’ve been a French translator for over 20 years and have spent time living and working in France as an English teacher. I’m completely bilingual (thanks to my French mother) and would like to share my language skills with the local community.
The idea behind the French conversation club isn’t to achieve fluency; it’s to help you gain the confidence you need that you can be understood and understand French when communicating with native speakers. During the session, we’ll be keeping any English to a minimum so you stay in the zone and help your brain switch to French. This is your club: it’s a casual get-together where you help steer the conversation and we can include any subjects you’d like to explore further.
Whether you want to support your children with their French homework and revision, talk to French clients over the phone or have the confidence to mingle with the locals when you’re on the continent, this could quite literally be right up your street.
