A financially struggling group - Justine, her husband Albin, and their friends - decide to stage a fake romantic cruise to take advantage of Franck Pauilhac, a wealthy investor who wants to wine and dine a woman he’s trying to seduce. Under the guise of an elegant getaway on a canal boat, they hope to pocket the money. But things quickly get chaotic: the deception triggers a series of misunderstandings, comic twists and social satire.
