On November 16th Fremantle’s historic Naval Store will host the annual Fremantle Long Table Dinner an unforgettable community fundraiser in partnership between St Patrick’s Community Support Centre (St Pat’s) and The National Hotel to support people experiencing homelessness.
With just 400 tickets available this Marine Steampunk-themed evening promises a unique experience bringing guests together for fine dining live entertainment and a meaningful cause.
The venue which has welcomed visitors to Fremantle since 1935 provides an ideal backdrop for this year’s steampunk theme and ensures a fantastic night will be had whatever the weather. Guests will be encouraged to don steampunk-inspired attire – whether as Victorian naval captains mechanical mermaids or deep-sea adventurers – or come as themselves!
Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal catered by The National Hotel featuring shared platters slow-braised beef or barramundi mains and decadent cheese and petit four dessert platters all celebrating the best of local produce.
Premium WA wines cocktails and local beers from Little Creatures Brewery Leeuwin Estate and Greenskin Wine will round out the evening’s indulgences.
Entertainment for the night includes Famous Sharron as MC live music from Fremantle indie band Rocks & Rhubarb the jazz-infused group Quiet Country and fire performers Dangerous Delights. The night will close with a rousing set by Brass Party – because as they say there ain’t no party like a Brass Party!
The evening will also feature a silent auction a live auction hosted by Scott Wilson from Gift of the Gavel and a raffle with fabulous prizes contributed by local businesses. All proceeds support St Patrick’s Community Support Centre’s essential services including accommodation meals healthcare and much more for people doing it tough in our community.
