Freestyle Fall Flower Arrangement Workshop

Celebrate the beauty and warmth of the fall season in this hands-on Freestyle Fall Flower Arrangement Workshop, led by experienced ikebana instructor Karen Chang. For this class, we are not teaching ikebana but freestyle, inviting you to explore your own creative expression through the vibrant colors and textures of autumn.
While we’ll provide a lovely selection of seasonal flowers, this is a freestyle workshop, and so we encourage participants to bring found materials from nature or home to incorporate into their designs. These could include:
- Fallen leaves in warm hues
- Twigs or branches with interesting shapes
- Pinecones, seed pods, or dried grasses
- Smooth stones, bark, or driftwood
- Decorative containers or vessels that inspire you
Karen will guide you through creative composition techniques, showing how to blend natural materials with traditional floral forms to express your individual style. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced floral artist, this workshop offers a relaxing and inspiring way to connect with the season and your own creativity.
All flowers and basic materials (oasis sponge and flat vase) will be provided. Please bring your own shears and any found or personal items you’d like to include.
