Much has been said about the inner critic, that nagging voice in the back of any writer's head who interrupts one's flow to pipe up, "Too vulnerable! Too hackneyed! Too silly! Too weird!" In this workshop, rather than silencing that shrill little voice, we will work on listening closely to it, honoring its feedback and teasing the useful and wise from the useless and paralyzing, to raise the quality of our work and write more freely. Additionally, we will take a look at in-progress versus final drafts of published stories, to study how established authors revisit and revise their own work. This workshop will take place in-person and online.
Saturday, October 11th, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. EST
