Freedom to Read Community Day of Action Book Discussion

The American Library Association has designated October 19, 2024 as Freedom to Read Community Day of Action. Although the main focus of Freedom to Read is on banned books, we are celebrating all books! In this program, you will have the opportunity to discuss:

• What is your favorite book?
• Why is it your favorite book?
• Brief summary of the book
• Favorite characters/quotes
• Learn about book bans
• Attendees will also learn about a free library video resource: Access Video On Demand

Stop by the Miramar Branch library to fill out information about your favorite book to be included in the discussion!
