Freedom to Liberty: A Mission of Healing retreat is October 2-5, 2025 from the Appleton International Airport. Sixty-six GWOT veterans will travel to NYC to visit the 911 memorial and tour the museum. The veterans will attend presentations from prominent 911 first responders and a distinguished Medal of Honor recipient; those who know exactly what it’s like to struggle. The retreat focuses on resilience, faith, and mental health & wellness. Mental health professionals are in attendance in case the vets need extra support and their Battle Buddies are nearby We are creating a community folks and it’s all because of you! We hope to see you are the Welcome Home celebration at the W6400 plane hangar, next to the airport. Parking fees will apply and doors open at 11:30am.
