Join us on a Freedom Summer Tour of Philadelphia, Ms on Tuesday, October 8th.
Our chartered bus will depart Tupelo at 5:30a.m. and arrive in Philadelphia for a catered breakfast courtesy of our generous host.
We will tour several important sites:
the Jail where the three Civil Rights workers were taken after arrest, where they were murdered; the courthouse, and Mt. Zion Church. We will be treated to a complimentary luncheon at The Depot in downtown Philadelphia.
We arrive back in Tupelo Tuesday evening.
Cost will be reasonable ($30-$40 pp for bus expense.)
We have applied for grants and will know expenses later this week.
