Welcome to the Freedom Fund Banquet!

Join us for an inspirational evening celebrating freedom and equality. Our Freedom Fund Banquet brings together like-minded individuals passionate about making a difference in the community. It's a great opportunity to network, enjoy delicious food, and listen to empowering speaker.
We are excited to announce that our keynote speaker for our banquet this year will be Nanda Nunnelly.
Nanda Nunnelly is a business entrepreneur, political activist, community organizer, educator, mother, and grandmother.
Ms. Nunnelly owns and manages NextGen Diagnostic Services, a medical laboratory located in Joplin, Missouri. NextGen provides contracted laboratory services for city, state, and federal entities. Since 2020, NextGen has provided free Covid-19, Flu, and RSV testing to communities state-wide, and currently offers testing, education, and enhanced cleaning services to members of our unhoused communities.
Ms. Nunnelly serves her community as President of the Minnie Hackney Community Service Charitable Foundation, founder of the Langston Hughes Cultural Society of Joplin, and sits on the board of Connect2Culture, George Washington Carver Birthplace Association, and Black History of the Ozarks Preservation Society.
Ms. Nunnelly combines her love of history, theatre, and storytelling by creating Living History performances. Becoming the central character, she is able to weave a first-person account that is riveting and genuine. Ms. Nunnelly connects stories of the past to present day, and along the way inspires others to see History in a new way!
