Crook County Public Health will host a free online American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking tobacco cessation group program.
Quitting isn’t easy—but it’s easier with the right help. This In-Person seven week (eight sessions) tobacco cessation program beginning on October 1st will be led by a trained facilitator and gives you options, resources and support to quit for good! The program will be held in person on Tuesdays through November 12th, as well as on Thursday, October 24th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Topics that will be covered in this program:
- How to know if you’re really ready to quit
- FDA-approved cessation medications that can increase your success
- Lifestyle changes to make quitting easier
- How to prepare for your quit day
- How to stay tobacco-free for good
